Agnes Bruckner
Agnes Bruckner (born August 16 15th, 1987) is an American actress and former model. Bruckner is a native of Hollywood, California, to an Hungarian father and her Russian mother who have since separated; her paternal grandfather was German. In Hungary, her parents first met and then immigrated in their native U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. She has two sisters and one brother. The career of Bruckner began at age 11. In 1999, she starred in several commercials and television pilots. Her appearances also included the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. at the age of fifteen, Bruckner got her first part in the lead role of the indie film Blue Car (2002), which featured her as one of the students at her high school having an affair her teacher. She was played by David Strathairn. Roger Ebert, a film critic, said about how Bruckner was "completely engaged in negotiating the challenging film." The role of Bruckner was rewarded with an Independent Spirit Award nod for "Best female character."
