Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. Along with BJJ, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. When she was 18, Ladd made her first appearance as an amateur in WCFC. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were marred. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. She took her next bout in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She defeated Lina by grounding and pounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO in the second round. She repeated her dominance and scored an even stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. She also received the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd won the fight of the night bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous verdict.
